Any ideas on how to make my bambineos into a 'pull down' nappy

DS1 is only in nappies at night. He only really does one wee in them, although at two times (I think) What I want is to somehow make one of the bambineos I already have into a pull down so that if he does ask for a wee, especially in the morning, I can get it off quick enough so he can do the wee on the loo. It does not have to pull up again as I just want to have the option to get it off quick.

I am not adverse to sewing but not very skilled. Any suggestions?

I would say cut off the tabs and get some lycra sewn on either side like a minki yoyo... I dunno if it would wick though

I would try to get him to hold on for a few secs while you take it off.

I was thinking about it in bed last night and thought that a more elasticy nippa might work. Either that or sew a thick peice of elastic between the tabs and somehow secure it to the croth area?

Octo- He is still quite sleepy if he does tell me and I am not sure if he has already done it when he tells me or if he does it as soon as he tells me. Early days yet and not expecting too much.

You could sew elastic with velcro on it to the front, and put the velcro fasteners on the back/side of the nappy. If you do it up with the tabs underneath, then you can fasten the elastic towards the back (so he can't undo it) and it should just stretch to pull down.
