Scarlet fever

DS's nursery has confirmed an outbreak of scarlet fever in all the preschool rooms, last week there were 2 confirmed cases. DH happens to have a day off tomorrow. Would you send your child in or keep them off?

If DH can look after him I'd keep him home but I know that's probably not a popular opinion Grin

Ah thanks for responding, we kept him off, totally get it’s normal to pick up bugs one after the other when they start in a childcare setting but he was quite poorly over Easter, cue A&E and antibiotics and knowing there is an outbreak, I just want him to have a little break from being ill!

Totally don't blame you!

It's appalling. So sorry you were shown so little consideration. The health system is broken.
