9 month old not sleeping anymore

Hi, since DD was around 3 months she was able to self settle to sleep, but no more!

She wakes up fully and immediately tries to roll over and push herself up/stand up in the crib. And from there she can’t get down, she just cries.

It goes on from 1am until morning. I feel like I have a newborn again.

does anyone have any tips or advice? Thanks

I haven’t experienced this myself but I remember reading that babies learn to stand up before they learn to sit down - so lots and lots of practise during the day to help her learn how to sit / lie down again.

Good luck, OP!

Thank you! I'm honestly so desperate...fell asleep for an hour on the couch this afternoon! Hopefully it's just a phase...

Must be exhausting. Just when we think we’ve got it sussed…

There’s a sleep regression around 8-9 months.

play games with her during the day to teach her sitting down. I had to do this with my son- he would wake up, then stand up- then scream for mommy. So we did “up and down- bump!” Games till he got the hang of it.
