My son is almost 18 months and I'd like to stop him having a dummy for naps/bedtime.
My eldest stopped at 12m so I think he was less attached but due to various bugs/lack of sleep Ive not felt ready to take away from my youngest until now.
He's good in that he'll only have them for sleep and will leave them in his cot when he wakes but he is reliant on them to fall asleep (he likes to have one in his mouth and hold one). So I'm looking for some ideas of what I could maybe introduce as an alternative that isn't going to affect his teeth longer term.
Any success stories of taking the dummy off little ones a similar age please?
