ALDI BABY WIPES BAD REACTION!

JXA2 · 29/04/2022 21:07

My little girl is 3 months old and I have recently started using Aldi Mamia sensitive baby wipes on her when I change her and she has come out with bright red patches down below and it looks like she's been scalded!

I've stopped using them immediately after noticing but has anyone else experienced this with these wipes?

Hi, which Aldi wipes did you use? We usually use Aldi extra sensitive with no issues but yesterday I used a different Aldi wipe (used a wipe from a friends pack) to clean my sons face after lunch and he has some red patches on his face today and I have been racking my brains as to what it could be. I think the pack we used yesterday was a turquoise colour rather than the white pack we usually use.

I've used Aldi wipes with both of mine but my 1st had the same reaction to Asda nappies!

Poor little thing, I would seek medical advice about something to soothe her skin.

I always found it was best not to use wipes all the time, no matter which brand. They would go sore after a few days.

I used to use cotton wool and water when we were at home and just kept wipes for when out and about. If I did it that way then I rarely encountered problems. A good barrier cream (like sudocrem) was also a must.

My LO reacts like this to pampers nappies & wipes. Fortunately she is fine with the cheaper supermarket own brand ones Smile
