My DS is 15 months and always poos at 9.30 am guaranteed! (also at other times of day, not so punctual! He can walk and is very good natured and obeys simple instructions. Do other MNs think it's too early to start potty training? not major, but just when I can tell he's doing a poo, put him on a potty? any advice much appreciated!

You'll get very mixed responses to your post

I say, go for it. Pop him on a potty or on the toilet at 9:25am and explain that you would like him to poo/wee on the toilet from now on.

Babies wee on waking, so if you put him on a potty straight after naps and first time in the morning, you can start to catch a few wees too.
