7 month old - short wake windows?

My 7 and half month old seems to love his sleep, which I'm very happy with. He is bouncy, happy and energetic while awake however starts to get sleepy and grumpy after an hour. He still has 3 to 4 decent naps a day. I try to push wake windows to 2 hours but he isn't particularly happy about it.

Is this something to worry about, or just the way some babies are?

Just like adults babies have different sleep needs. I would continue to follow his sleep cues and put him down when he's tiered. He will lengthen his wake windows naturally. He will end up over tiered which is no fun for anyone🙈

If it's any reassurance to you, my DD is 7 months tomorrow and also struggles to go very long between naps. She'll do 2hrs now but only if we're keeping her busy, otherwise she naps 1.5 hrs ish after last nap. She's usually rubbing her eyes within 45 minutes of waking. She has 4 or 5 30min naps a day, still not managing to take any longer naps. But she's happy, healthy developing well so I'm not concerned!
