toddler beds

just brought a toddler bed for ds but dont know what bedding to buy. Bedding for toddler bed is so expensive. And not bob the builder or tweenies.! Can i not just get single bed stuff and tuck it in?

My dd is in a toddler bed and has single size duvet but cotbed fitted bottom sheets.
single duvet has never been a problem for us

I just have single bed size stuff and tuck the extra behind the bed on the wall side. Reminds me... DS is 6 and will need new bed soon!
