Baby first tooth!

Hi guys,

My baby boy is 5 1/2 months old and on Monday I noticed his first tooth has broke through the gums! (Bottom middle)
Since then it hasn’t come any further through… is this normal??
How long until it fully comes through and pops up like a proper tooth!
First time mum here so not sure🥲

From first cut to fully grown tooth for my daughter took about 1-1.5 months for the smaller side teeth and probably nearer 2 for the big front ones. You'll find you'll notice it getting a tiny bit bigger every day but that seems to last for ages. But I think the most pain their in is a week or two before the cut and then intermittently as it's growing, but for us at least barely noticeable in comparison to pre cut pain!

my boys looked like a grain of rice for a good month😂He now has two and you can see them both properly.
