9 month old eating

Can anyone with a 9 month old or similar share some experience/advice on what my little boy eats? He’s just turned 9 months, done mostly BLW from 6 months and he’s breastfed alongside. He has 3 meals a day which I’m finding more and more that he will have a few bites and then get so frustrated until we take him out the high chair and let him crawl around/play. Should I be concerned that he’s eating maybe 3/4 mouthfuls a meal?
Whenever I’m eating something (we try and eat all meals together but not always possible) he’s always interested and tries to take a bite. Up for trying anything and everything but it’s the sitting and eating enough I’m worried about. He also still has a lot of feeds during the day - even if I space it out to ensure he’s hungry enough for lunch, after a few mouthfuls he wants to get down and will come to me for milk not long after.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Should also add he’s really active - constantly on the move so not sure whether this is affecting his eating? I.e he’s got more interesting things to be doing!

It sounds fine. As long as he has access to food he will take what he needs. Mine is nearly 2 and he still eats like this on some days, on others he eats loads. It all averages out in the end.

Don’t worry at all, they’re just figuring it all out at this stage and it sounds absolutely normal
