Wind? Colic? Sick after burping? Help!

Hi,
im a first time mum to a baby girl who will be 4 weeks on Friday. She’s been a dream with eating and sleeping and something has changed. I’ve been told she’ll be entering leap 1 on Saturday so not sure if this is why she’s unsettled or if it’s something else.

she cries if I burp her, if she does bring up a burp she can bring up a teaspoon amount of milk up with her. She can pull away from the bottle while mid feed but cry for more food?

ive tried burping her for the majority of the day, she’s not really slept and if she has it’s been a really light/quick nap. I’ve tried rubbing her tummy, moving her legs etc but it’s just made her bring up milk which then makes her cry and then she has the hiccups afterwards

she’s on aptimil, mam bottles with 0 teet - shall I move her up to 1 teet?

any help would be really appreciated as I’m starting to run out of suggestions on what to do for the best

I would try keeping upright after feeds for at least 30 mins and seeing if she maybe has reflux. Does she do wet sounding burps/hiccups?

A small amount of milk coming up with a burp is normal. Definitely keep her upright for a while after feeding. Burp her after every 25-40 ml and don’t give more until you get a burp - be persistent! A nanny I knew said it should take an hour to feed a newborn: people tend to give up too quickly and assume that the baby is full when they actually want a burp and a breather. She will stop sucking when she’s had enough. I found it really hard to burp my newborn properly until someone told me to sit him upright and then slowly swirl him around like he’s a spoon in a pot about ten times, then tap firmly on the back! It really works. You could try the bigger size teat if she’s falling asleep on the bottle before she’s had a good feed. Good luck! You can always ask your health visitor for advice too.

Also my baby still cries when I burp him - he just wants more milk and doesn’t see why he has to wait while he burps! I tell him it’s to free up space. Also a trapped burp can be uncomfy so that may be why she’s crying.

Sounds similar to what my baby was like at that age and was reflux. She would cry during/after feeds and after being sick because the acid would burn.
Keep baby as upright as poss for at least 30 mins after feeds and give plenty of burping breaks. We was on aptamil too but I found that milk didn't personally work well for her and her reflux. My baby has severe reflux and takes infant gaviscon prescribed from gp.
Your bubba might not have it but keep a check on the symptoms and speak to your gp if you're worried

Sounds like trapped wind. I’d try size 1 teats and see if that helps.
