How many dirty nappies roughly should DD have at 16 weeks?

...She used to have 4-7 in a day but recently has just one every day or sometimes every other day. She is teething, seems fine apart from that. She is breastfed, always has been.

breastfed babies can apparently go 7-10 days without a poo without being constipated!! My formula fed ds went 2-3 days between poos before we started weaning him and goes a little more often now. As long as the poo is still soft and not little hard 'rabbit poos' then your lo is not constipated and is pooing normally.

My little boy often goes a week between bowel movements. I was rather shocked, as my daughter (exclusively breastfed) would do 1-3 a day, but once I realised it was just normal for him (also an exclusively breastfed baby), then I relaxed and enjoyed the infrequent messy nappies to change & wash out! lol Now that my little boy (nearly 10 mo) is eating more solids, he's having a few bowel movements a week, usually.

Guess they're all just different!
