Adult tooth growing into baby tooth, 7yo

My daughters adult tooth is growing into the adjacent baby tooth and looks like it's causing some trauma/redness of the tooth. Is this normal or should I be concerned? I've read up on shark teeth but this seems different.

My Dd had this, it caused an abcess, they had to remove the baby tooth to let the 2nd tooth come through.

in my case, I tool DD to the dentist because of the abcess,
(& discomfort) which is when he said it was the new tooth that can't come through, so not an identical scenario.
