Anyone used infacol to help newborn with wind. I know it says use before feed, but could you also use it after feed, and if using before feed how long before do you give it

I’ve only ever heard of using it before a feed, as it’s purpose is to help the wind come up more easily when you burp them afterwards. Just give it immediately before. I used it with two of mine for some time, until you get a sense that the wind isn’t such an issue for them overall.

I just put it into the bottle, he brings up one biggg burp so I'm pretty sure it still does the job! don't know if that would make life easier for you?

We used to give DS Infacol and we just gave it to him right before his bottle.
Side lying feeding also helped us massively with DS who was a very sicky, windy baby.

Give it to the baby immediately before the bottle. My daughter couldn't cope without it, wonderful stuff.

We have used Infacol since birth as our DD is literally full of gas!
We use a double dose immediately before a feed and try winding every 1-2oz.
Sometimes just sitting her upriggt, tilted forwards a bit will encourage a burp without the back rubbing/patting.
It seems to work for us
