AINU to call docs?

My 10 m/o had the d&v bug last week but has recovered from this now after 5/6 days. Bug also gave him a cough and runny nose… Again. His ears are very waxy too however not sure if this is relevant. He is still sleeping well thankfully but he is waking up in the morning crying and he is crying on and off all day unless constantly distracted and we can’t identify a reason for the tears… I know this probably sounds ridiculous as he is just crying but would I be unreasonable to take him to the docs to see if they can identify a cause? Or will I look utterly ridiculous and PFB?!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could be missing?

Yes I would take a 10m/o to the doctors if I thought something could be wrong, your instincts are telling you somethings not right so listen to them.

Also, I just wondered if you did a covid test at the time? As one of my dc had covid recently with very simular symptoms (however I'd still speak to a dr if worried!)

Its such a worry when there poorly, I hope lo is feeling much better soon Flowers
