DS is starting at University of Bristol in September. Does anyone have experience of the accommodation villages or halls at Bristol? He doesn't mind about it being a bit tatty but wants to be somewhere he can make friends. He's worried some places have a reputation of being full of public school kids he doesn't think he'll have much in common with and is worried about the expense, but I think he'll be a bit isolated if he stays in a house rather than student hall.
