21 month son on omeprazole

So coby weaned at 17 weeks due to reflux with a dietician. He was the best eater then at 11 months we caught covid for months he was like a waterfall. they put him on omeprazole the sickness stopped but ever since then he wont eat wet or proper food he lives of snacks. my question has anyone found since there child was on omeprazole they stopped eating or ate very little? im wondering if the omeprazole is stopping him eating?

Common side effects of omeprazole include abdominal pain, constipation, vomiting and diarrhoea.
If he is experiencing any of those might he be uncomfortable when he is full?

My dd was on omeprezole from an earlier age - about 3 months ish to 2yrs+ but she also had another medication to go with it. Omeprezole keeps the food down, but this other med - which unfortunately I cant remember the name of - pushed it food through the system and out the other end.

Is he not clearing out properly, backing up perhaps? Are the bowl movements regular or is he just overflowing liquid. It's tough when little ones are struggling.
