Yup. When do they grow out of it?
My LO is almost 14 months and pretty much since he was 9 months old he’s having meltdowns when any adult tries to talk to them.
He’s ok with other kids, but when any adult just tries to say the smallest hi he’s just not having it and cries the whole place down.
Also - there’s only 3 of us, me and my DP. Both of us don’t have any families nearby so unfortunately there are no grandma and grandpa visits or any family at all. He even cries every time I talk to my mum on WhatsApp ( he cries when he sees her and after few minutes after I calm him down he seem ok’ish. ) We do go out and see other people - even just supermarkets or coffee shops. Now the weather is getting better we go to the local park with playground. We used to go to the softplay but unfortunately at the moment our financial situation wouldn’t allow that. He likes to watch people and he’s really open outside and bubbly same as home but when someone tries to talk to him it’s the tears all over again.
I have a flight coming up and being stuck on the plane with strangers for a few hours gives me the biggest panic attack.
Is there anything I can do or it’s just a phase? “sigh”
