Help - poo suddenly gone brown and nappies now leaking!!

My DD is 7 weeks old and her poo has suddenly changed. Its gone from mustard yellow to dark brown and really smells.

I've tried pampers, nature nappies and moltex oko but none of them seem to hold it (although doesn't look any more watery than usual)- is this normal?

Sorry, meant to say she is BF and my diet hasn't changed - she seems well otherwise.

in my experience breastfed baby poo is a highly variable thing! She may have become a more efficent feeder and the greater amount of milk be making a difference? Are you sure the nappys aren't leaking because baby has grown and you need the next size - or have you gone up a size too early?
For peace of mind you could ask your hv if you can have the poo tested - at least you know it won't be hard to get a sample
