Lost cuddly toy in Paris - any advice?

We're in Paris at the moment and my DS has lost his much loved cuddly toy, which I made for him. He is absolutely distraught, understandably. Does anyone have any ideas about how we might be able to find it? We went back to Arc de Triomphe, where we think he dropped the cuddly toy, but we couldn't see it, sadly...

There are social media accounts you can post on to try to find it. I’ve heard of ones on face book, Instagram & twitter. Example below but there are lots of accounts.
Maybe there is a Facebook Paris account or Paris insta?

Thanks for your help. I've posted a message on the Lost Teddy website, but I can't find a Facebook page for Paris that I can post to, sadly.

The mairie may have a lost property. If not they will tell you where to go.
Did you ask in nearby shops and cafes?

Lostandfound-paris.com
Has all the details. Seems it's not the mairie but the police that deal with this.
Hope you find it.

This is the police site: objetstrouvesprefecturedepolice.franceobjetstrouves.fr
Best of luck. We lost a very important toy bus and helicopter years ago on holiday in Italy and managed to replace them but if you made it yourself that's a different story!

Ring anywhere you've been, make some good old fashioned posters and put them up all the places you've been since

Thank you so much for the links. I've now posted on the Facebook page and made a report on the police website.

My DS is so upset about the loss of his cuddly, not just because he misses him, but because he dreads to think what's happened to him...

I've said I'll make DS a new one, but of course, it's still not the same.

Maybe you could tell your son that some child has probably picked up his toy to look after it and try to find it's owner.
