Storage for toys

I know this is a first world problem but my boy turned 2 recently and he has been given lots of toys. Does anyone have any tips as to how best to store toys? I have some fabric boxes but things just get forgotten in them. Also, what is the best thing to store brio train sets or duplo sets?

I have Kallax unit for ikea with fabric boxes and put individual items in each box, cars in one, duplo in another, books in another and only get two boxes out at a time. If they want other boxes out have to put first two away first. X

Kallax and then drawstring bags for little bits

If you don't like kallax, the trofast is great for duplo and brio.
The plastic tubs come in different depths and are sturdier than fabric boxes, and you can get kids so it looks neater.
