Covid baby?

my partner has tested positive for covid, whilst i have tested negative, we think it's a matter of time for me to test positive as we sleep in the same room, shared with the baby, and there's no other place for baby and i to sleep in due to housing circumstances.

baby and partner have come down with a fever so assuming baby might already have covid, we don't think it's right to test a baby, though some have suggested, we won't be testing our baby. any advice??

we have been giving baby calpol for the fever, he's generally well and feeding, also napping well. seems to be fine, but any advice if he gets unwell?
