Anyone used them?
Got a trial pack which I used on ds yesterday and the blahdy thing leaked!
Are they just crap? Or is it me?

I used cotton bottoms which are also prefolds and really liked them. Silly question but did you wash and dry the nappy a couple of times first?

No I didn't, I guess should have done so?

They need to be washed to fluff them up and make them more absorbant. Do that a couple of times and you will see a big difference!

I like the covers but not the pad they come with, i use the bambino mio cotton pad in it, with two kids in nappies it means that i can carry on useing the small pad longer, as ds1 is still useing the larger pad and i dont have enough for two. DD has big bottom explosions and they dont leak

The outer is not cotton, so doesn't fluff up as it is non fluffy, and i used the disposable liner. Do you mean i should wash the washable liner before use?

If you used the disposable pad it doesn't need washing first but I don't imagine it's very good.

If you used the washable nappy pad www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B000TUW3H4/sr=1-5/qid=1199807459/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&mcb=core it will need to be washed before it's properly absorbant or at least thats the case with all other nappies.

are these just prefolds?
