So my baby is wearing a fairly long gown for her actual christening but I’m just thinking so I keep her in it for the after party or get her something else if so what ? I still want her to look well presented for the party so do I just get her another white dress that’s not long like thr gown or ?

I would keep it on here until it's dirty or she's uncomfortable and then into something really comfy, babygrow/romper/top and leggings depending on her age

She’s 7 months will be nearly 8 months at the time x

I think if she's mobile you'll need to put her in something more practical. If she's going to be in a pushchair/highchair/passed around from arms to arms, then she'll be fine in her long gown.

A pair of nice trousers and pretty top.

My little one is being baptised at the end of this month and I've also had this dilemma. She has a long gown for the ceremony and then I've got her a standard length ivory party dress for the after. She's 9months so not toddling and the party is in the function room of a pub so she's not going to be crawling round the floor - she'll be sat on knees or in a high chair.

Pop her back in a baby grow. Skirts are a nuisance for them until they can walk. Get some lovely photos in her gown and then let her be comfy x
