Flu vaccine

My 25 month old is due to start a couple days at nursery this month. I was going to get him the flu vaccine before he starts, but now I’m not sure if it’s the right time to do so.

Should I wait until the autumn when it begins to circulate?

I think flu season is over now. I don’t think they offer it at this time of year.

@Duracellbunnywannabe He was booked in to have it 2 weeks ago but I cancelled because he came down with a virus.

Not sure what to do!

Flu season vaccination normally runs from the start of September to the end of March. The flu vaccine in September will be a different one as they try and work out the the most likely strains.
