Need very small pants for skinny DS?

Any ideas where I can get tiny size boys pants, please ladies? I want to potty train DS but he's such a string bean, his waist is 41cm/16 inches although he's 2.5 yrs now.

I bought some 18-24 mth pants from Mothercare but they're vast on him, won't even stay up.

If anyone can sell some that have shrunk in the wash, i'll make you an offer!

I found primark's age 2-3 pants were pretty tiny. Definately smaller than the mothercare 18-24 months which IMO are very generously sized. I found the best places for pants that come up small were places like Ethel Austin, QS etc.

I'm planning on starting potty trianing next month I hadn't thought that pants might be too big. My ds is also a skinny minny and can only wear trousers with adjustable waists.

I bought him some pants for christmas, but will check the waist before he gets them or I'll gave a fight on my hands

Try Woollies. We got some 1.5-2 years there for our very skinny son!

if you need them really small, vertbaudet go down to very young, bit more pricy but you can often find discount codes for them.

I got DS pants age 2 -3 from sainsbury's tu - they are great - fir DS well and he is slim.

Only danger to watch out for with a slim child is that once they are not longer wearing nappies their trousers will fall down when they run - I need to buy some belts as even the 18 - 24 months ones are falling down and he is 2.5! he doesn't care he just laughs though.

I would suggest getting decent pants (Mothercare/M&S) with a good elasticated waist. Ds is 3 and still wears 18 - 24 month trousers but his pants are 2 - 3 and they are fine. I bought him some cheapy Matalan things (1.5 - 2) but they fall off him.

H&M pants are lovely - they come in small sizes but have decent elastic to hold their shape well.

I seem to recall that psychomum tumble-dries to them to shrink them smaller too.
