Pointing to, looking at or picking up named objects/people

What age should a baby be able to respond by indicating in some way (whether looking at, gesturing to or picking up) to someone saying, for example, "where's daddy/grandma/sibling's name?" or "where's your cow/pig/star etc" or "where's the picture/clock/door..."? Would be interested to hear what people's experiences are.

These are the questionnaires health visitors use to track baby development:

They give an idea of what's age appropriate (but remember it's an overall score, not every one needs to be ticked off for things to be as they should!)

I can't remember with Ds1 but DS2 is due his 9-12 month review and the questionnaire has a similar question, so I assume the average is between 9-12 months.
