How to get 5 month old poo sample?

I went to the doctors yesterday and they told me I need to get a poo sample for my 5 month old. They gave me one of those tubes with a spoon and told me to fill it halfway up. But nothing comes off the nappy and it's all soaked in? Can it be from more than one poo? Also they are closed today so will I be able to keep it until Monday?

You could try adding a disposable liner to the nappy to ‘catch’ the poo :)

I've sat a 6month old on a potty for when I thought they were due a poo before to get a sample
