So my 8 month old DS has caught the vomiting bug off his older brother. He hasn’t slept for two night but he’s only actually thrown up once. He keeps cough and gippinh like he’s going to but then swallows it back down. He’s literally been up all night doing this and is inconsolable. I’m not sure how to help him and I’m absolutely exhausted. This is my fifth night of not sleeping and I feel like I can barely cope. My DH put the boys to bed so I could get my head down earlier. But as soon as he came to bed my 8 month old has been crying and I’ve been up. Im so sure if he actually just threw up he’d feel better and we might get some sleep. I don’t even know what I’m looking for I’m just so tired…..

Oh OP, I'm so sorry - I've been there. I had a week like this recently with one child unwell after another and I didn't sleep for days and it's an unbearable feeling.
Is there anyone around tomorrow to help you so they can take over for a bit and you can have a few hours sleep?
You won't actually die even though it feels like it. Hang in there! Sleep is coming soon xx

@YukoandHiro unfortunately not. Because they’ve got/had a sickness bug both sets of grand parents are avoiding us so they don’t catch it. Then my DH is working extra hours tomorrow. I can’t even remember what sleep feels like. Thank you it’s just nice to hear from someone who understands

How are you doing OP? Have things improved? I hope you've managed to get some sleep
