My 7 year old daughter Rosie was friends with a girl - letโ€™s call her Sarah.

Sarah is street wise for her age and an only child from a broken home. This may not be relevant (please donโ€™t shoot me down)

A while ago my daughter came home from school with a letter that Sarah had wrote say - to Rosie - we are not your friends anymore from โ€ฆ and then signed it from other girls in her class.

I spoke to the teacher- the teacher said Sarah and Rosie always seem ok and said sheโ€™ll keep an eye on them.

Every night this week my daughter has come out of school upset saying Rosie wonโ€™t play with her, is being horrible to her.

My daughter always loved school and now she doesnโ€™t want to go anymore.

Iโ€™ve seen myself this Sarah being mean to Rosie. We had Sarah for tea once and i overheard Sarah slagging off the other girls in the class.

Anyway- do I ignore the situation, tell my daughter to ignore her

Or do I email the teacher?

I know teachers are under so much pressure and I donโ€™t want to be โ€˜thatโ€™ parent that emails the teacher about girls being girls

Tell her stay away from that girl and find some nice new friends.
If she goes out of her way to upset your dd after being ignored report her for bullying.
