Random sickness in 20 month old

A few months ago my son kept on randomly getting sick at night, took him to the doctors and they gave me 5 days of antibiotics which didn’t work so they gave me montelukast granules before bed for 2 weeks.

He still randomly gets sick at night, took him to the doctors last week and they said they could hear a slight crackling in his chest so again put him on antibiotics but he’s just got sick everywhere in his bed.

Has anyone been through anything similar ?

Thanks

Is he having too much to eat before bed? Or drink eg milk - if he has it from a bottle it’s easy for him to have more than he needs which will then come back up

Yeah he had milk about an hour before bed, still in a bottle.

He has milk every night though and he’s not sick every night

Before Christmas my two year old had a sickness bug that was basically one evening of vomiting followed by about 7 days of vomiting around 10pm-1am every night. Was very upsetting for him ans also annoying to have to stay in for so long as it was a bug (he got from toddlers and at least 2 of his little friends got too following the session)

Anyway GP prescribed omeprazole as he would kind of clear his throat as he woke then throw up so wondered if it was acid reflux post bug?

It did stop after we started the omeprazole, whether it was reflux or coincidence I don't know.

I’m worried it might be allergy related - waiting on an appointment for fish allergy

I never feed him fish but worried he might be intolerant to something else
