3 month old feeding issues

Hi everyone,
Looking for a bit of support as I'm at my wits end and really not sure what to do next.

Dd is 14 weeks, and was diagnosed with reflux even though she wasn't overly sick.. it all started 8 weeks old and all of a sudden was having bottle aversions out of nowhere and it hasn't got much better. She is taking ok amounts but have to use all the tricks up our sleeve to feed her now..

She is currently on carobel milk thickener and hipp organic (have tried changing bottles, teasts, gaviscon and anti reflux milk). She seems to be taking it better than prev bottles but still such a struggle... I'm finding though that it's giving her such bad trapped wind, to a point where she's farting all night and it's waking her up and causing her pain and to be so restless.

Can anyone recommend anything for the wind ? I'm going to try introducing infacol again to see if I can get her to burp better..
I tried going back to basics a few weeks ago and just thought I'll try normal milk again but it's as if the size 2 mam teat was too fast and she point blank refused the size 1.

Can anyone recommend if they changed from hipp to another milk and that helped ?

Been at the docs several times but because she's gaining weight they aren't concerned. Just feel at a loss and struggling with the fight to just get her to take her bottle, its causing me anxiety around feeding her and I trying my best nit to get upset.

Any advice for a ftm would be great thank u

Thank u

Also thought I'd add to feed her now it seems to be only me that can get her to feed/settle and I'm having to

Catch her just as she's nodding off or stirring from a nap
Give her dummy and quickly swap for a bottle
Feed her whilst walking about the house
If she's taking it well I can't stop to burp as she won't take it back

It's making me feel like I don't know my daughter as she doesn't give cues/No routine to our day and its getting me down, I don't want to go places as I'm scared she decides she's hungry and I can't get her to feed

Poor DD. I can’t help with milk options but didn’t want to read and run. I found holding DS upright after his feed or putting him in the sling helpful with his gas, a friend suggested upright for as long as they feed. So 15 minute feed = 15 minutes upright. Warm baths and bicycle legs could help too. But infacol is supposed to be great too.

Just seen your update. Your daughter is 14 weeks, and you’re doing great. I like to think of it as a rhythm rather that a routine but it will change literally everyday. You know your daughter better than anyone, it took me a long time to believe that about my son because I too had moments of “but I just don’t know what to do”.

How much milk is she having? Could it be she’s just not hungry? We all have days when we’re not as hungry as others.

Hi, l.gave my daughter dentinox. I found infacol caused constipation.

Thanks for responding ! I know, its just so hard and I know it will pass soon hopefully I just worry so much!

Shes 13lb exactly and if I can get her to take 20 oz in a day it's an achievement but doesn't help much that hv insists she takes 30, it adds to my anxiety.

For the past few mornings she just doesn't want her bottle but seems hungry but will take dribs and drabs as the day goes on. She can go from 9 at night and maybe wake for 2 oz at 3 and not want anything until midday which just makes me worry so much.

I'm going to try infacol and see how we go just hoping all settles she's just a great wee thing hate to see her uncomfortable

Hi, I’m wondering what happened to your daughter in the end with this? This is exactly what is happening to my son at the moment - he keeps refusing bottles and I can only get him to take them when asleep or drowsy. Also has reflux which we’re treating with omeprazole. Did it pass? I’m worried out of my mind and can’t leave the house due to the stress of this all.
