robinredbreast - the only thing I have learnt at the age of 51 and after having four wonderful sons is that 'be calm, enjoy your children and just keep loving them.' ignore those people who say 'isn't your little boy slow at talking etc etc.

DD1 and 2 were both 3mths, as was DS1.

however, DD3 and DS2 were both 7mths as they were extremely tiny and I only moved them when they pulled themselves up to sitting!!!

they were really tiny tho going into cots.....DD3 was onl 15lb 11oz on her 1st b/day, and DS2 was 16lb on his 1st, so you can imagine the size!

I think that as long as they can't roll/rock them and are still not yet pulling themselves up they should be fine

2 weeeks ago at 8 wks. Like Nonickname's dc she kept bashing her arms and legs against it and waking herself up in middle of night (too hot to swaddle her really tightly). She was waking 3 or 4 times in night but never seemed that hungry. First two nights in cot she slept 9pm to 6am and has only woken once a night since.
