I sometimes cuddle DD in her toddler bed and have been known to fall asleep. I'm about 9.5 stone so I would think you would be OK.

tiredemma · 07/01/2008 15:22

I used to get into ds2's cot bed with him- I was about 9.5stone at the time.

robinredbreast · 07/01/2008 15:23

thought i might be able to help settle dd in there

do u find it helps your dd idris?

I get in dd's toddler bed with her to give her a cuddle, i think i may have got in there whilst pg with dd2.

colditz · 07/01/2008 15:26

Spread your weight well, ie don't put your weight on your foot or knee, and I'd think you would be ok.

BirdyArms · 07/01/2008 15:27

I am also 9.5 stone and have got into our M&P cotbed several times. No sinister creaks or groans, seems very sturdy, although hasn't been much help sending the ds's to sleep either, apart from once when ds1 and I both went to sleep.

IdrisTheDragon · 07/01/2008 15:29

It does settle her - and I find I get overall more sleep than bringing her into our bed where she kicks .

tiredemma · 07/01/2008 15:29

Not really- I was desperate for sleep and more worried about the state of my mental health through sleep deprivation!!
