Is it chicken pox?

I'll get some photos added in..
Dd was sent home from nursery with suspected chicken pox, I thought it was just nappy rash but now she has small red spots on her legs, 2 in mouth and on hands. I took some photos this morning and the Dr said he couldn't confirm if it was, but a few have since blistered over the day.
She's not herself, runny nose, really tearful and clingy and off her food which is unlike her. She also had a temp at nursery.
Would you treat this as if it was chickenpox even if Dr couldn't confirm?

Could be hand, foot and mouth. Are the blisters little? Chicken pox tends to crust over whereas HFM stay as smaller blisters.

I can't see your photo OP. Google what chicken pox looks like, the spots tend to have a clear fluid in them. I would give her some paracetamol for the fever. I hope it passes quickly and no-one else gets it.

There is also hand foot and mouth in the nursery. Only a few have turned to blisters, just like spots really the rest are just little red dots

These aren't the best photos and they've since worsened but she's sleeping so can't get another pic

That looks far more like HFM to me. DD had blisters just like that (as did I). It's very contagious so if it's going around nursery that would be my bet!

Looks like chicken pox to me. Like I said before Paracetamol is good. I hope she isn't too poorly.

Thanks all, her spots have pretty much gone today and she's much better, just her mouth is sore and off her food and still coughing. So it was either mild chickenpox or HFM, both same treatment so guess I'll know the next time the illnesses do the rounds and she picks something up haha!
