11 month old trapped wind

Help! Has anyone had a baby that suffers through the night with trapped wind? Some nights DS is fine but others he struggles to settle and is up crying with what appears to be a sore stomach until he starts letting farts out.

Any ideas?

Probiotics
Bland food for dinner - try and work out what is causing the gas
Having a bottle right before bed won't help either so if you can feed earlier in the evening will help

If it's food related then I was wondering if it was either gluten or dairy... More than likely diary. He had pasta for dinner last night and just fine but then pasta at lunch today (at nursery) with diary in it...

Dinner tonight wasn't anything really crazy but he's already up and seems rather unsettled even now he's asleep.
