Baby Poo

I'm a new Mum and my son is 12 weeks old. He's had a runny poo and I'm a bit concerned it diarrhoea. It's the same colour as it normally is just a bit runny. I'm guessing diarrhoea would absolutely stink 😩😩

I personally wouldn’t worry if it’s only a bit runny, baby poo is all different consistencies. Especially if baby seems fine otherwise. But if you’re concerned ring the gp or health visitor.

Hello, can I ask what the GP said?
My baby's poos are so runny sometimes her nappies leak. I know the nappies won't contain everything 100% of the time but I never experienced this with my older children as regularly!
Thanks

My GP was satisfied as my son is alert. He reckons it's just a tummy bug as there's one going round. My boy normally does a dirty nappy every other day and it's filled to the brim and leaks cos he only goes every other day. Also he seems to grow out of nappies very quickly aswell. I wouldn't worry.

That sounds just like my daughter (every other day)
I hope he's feeling better soon

Thanks for getting back to me

I just can't find nappies that got well. They're too small or too big 😭😭

I get this too!! Too tight round the legs and too loose round to tummy or vice versa!
