If you’re breastfeeding - can your periods return and then go away again?

Just that really. We’re ttc number 2 m’y periods only returned 2 months ago 18mo pp. they were like clockwork 28 days a part. I’m now late… was hoping I was pregnant but took a text and it was a bfn… this past month my ds has been nursing a lot more (think he’s going through a growth spurt) is it possible that my periods have now gone away again 😫

I'm 19m pp and still no period and breastfeeding. From what I've learned, your cycles can be quite irregular when breastfeeding. There is so much individual variation though. There's a good Facebook group for people TTC while breastfeeding which you might find useful:

Mine did - had one or two, then missed a couple completely, then cycle went a bit long and now has shortened again.

Yep, missed a few around the 10 month mark
