Chickenpox vaccine

I can’t decide on this.

My main concern is immunity. I don’t want to vaccinate my 2 year old for it to wear off in 10-15 years unbeknownst to us, putting him at risk. Boosters are apparently “not as effective” in teens and adults so who is to say he will mount a sufficient response?

Then, supposedly natural infection provides lifetime immunity but I’ve read several posts from people who had pox as a kid and discovered they were not immune (pregnancy screening etc)

What do I do? I’m torn! He starts nursery at the end of April and I feel he will definitely catch it there.
