Hi everyone my son is 18 months and being monitored until hes 3 due to suspected autism I'm wanting toddler classes for me and him to go to help him around other children and see if it helps his speech and just for me and him to have fun
Anyone know any classes in Belfast

The doctor also suggested day nursey would be good for him anyone sent their child this young I dunno if I could leave him yet but doctor said it would be good for him bring around other kids his age

I'm just nervous leaving him hes my first born and I'm just over protective I'm worried with his wee ways hell just play in his own he also only knows 2 words mama and dads so would worry about him not bring understood if he wants something

All advice be great tia

It would be better asking on a local parenting Facebook group.

Lots of children go to nursery from a younger age and are fine.

Some toddler classes are very structured. You might want to try out a mixture of classes and more traditional toddler groups where he can roam around and chose what to do. For the classes have a think about what he likes, gymnastics, foodball, dance or art and go with one you think he may enjoy.
