Decent trainers for toddlers

Looking for some trainers and lighter shoes to see DS (16 months) through the summer. Can anyone recommend brands that are actually decent for their feet and that you’re not just paying for a brand name (like with Adidas/Nike etc). Something with decent support and flexibility for his wee feet. Very confident walker so we’re well past the “first shoes” stage 😊

Happy to pay for decent shoes so budget isn’t really an issue. Kids Ecco maybe?

I ordered some from Bobux.com. For me it was important to have the right support and fit for the just started to walk feet and plus they are nice and lightweight.

Add: And they have shoes for every walking stage.

Start Rite and Clarks. Though I’ve also found Next fine, my toddler has wide feet and they do wide fittings.

Bobux are nice. Try Keen or Teva for good sandals

@Eri21 @Howmuchwood I don’t know how I forgot about Bobux 😅 thats who I got his first wee shoes from! I’ll have a look 😊

@BingBangB0ng Thank you 😊 I haven’t had anything for him from StartRight or Clarks yet actually! Mine also has wide feet so want to make sure he’s in something that fits him well 😊

These in particular from Clarks are great

They have survived being worn everyday to nursery, can chuck them in the washing machine and dry quickly.

www.keenfootwear.com/en-gb/toddlers/ are great for wider feet and virtually indestructible based on our DC

I’ve been happy with Marks and Spencer’s trainers - they are good quality and pretty robust. Not too pricey.

Superfit. Ds first pair were from there and they were much better quality than the geox pair he currently has. I will get the next size in superfit.
