My 15 month old is a lovely boy but very, very boisterous.He has taken up hitting very hard, usually in the face. This started with me but has now become other children! I was mortified that he hit an older toddler around the face twice.
I tell him no, hold his arms or hands, will put him down but I don't know what else to do. He does it playfully but doesn't seem to be learning to not do it!!
I managed to get him out of the habit of biting but I'm starting to worry that I'm doing something wrong. It doesn't help that when I tell him no etc. Other family members do not even after instructing them to tell him off and make him aware it is wrong. His Father is completely useless at this with him.
Any advice? I am a first time Mum so all new to me and I am trying hard with it, it doesn't help that other family members including his Dad don't tell him no.
