Is it normal?

Hi so my LG will be 9months next week. We attend a local meeting group where there’s one particular mum who’s not the nicest shall we say. She passed comment on my LG and I know it really shouldn’t but it’s playing on my mind. So my LG has always been shall we say nosey! Loves new things new people and is very excitable. She was lying on floor in the mum group kicking both arms and legs at the same time which we have always taken for get being excited. However this mum said it wasn’t normal and her LB stopped doing this months ago and that I should consider getting ‘advice’ now I’m wondering if this is something she should have grown out of. She seems to me to be hitting all her milestones saying mama rolling army crawls and is now pushing up to her knees and rocking.

Mine is 9, almost 10 months old and she still does it (she is also meeting all of her developmental milestones) like you, I take it as excitement.

what is wrong with someone thinking they have to tell you that your child shouldn't wave their arms around? Just ignore those statements.

I know and I never normally let anyones comment get to me but for some reason this has it not sure why. I actually think it’s cute and love when she does it. Think I need to find a new mum group!

How ridiculous of her! Perfectly fine. Absolutely nothing wrong with that IMO. Don't let her get into your head!

The only person that isn't normal is that mother.

Please make sure you avoid her at all costs.

I would prepare yourself parenting brings the worst out in so many people

She’s talking absolute bollocks.

Thank you all! Feel so much better! As I say I never normally concern myself with commons or advice on how I should parent as it’s unique to everyone but for some reason that got under my skin! Will be giving her a wide birth from now on
