4 month sleep regression....help!

Hi all, any advice greatly appreciated as I'm slowly losing my mind through lack of sleep!

My LO has never been a great sleeper, hos best was about 4 to 5 hour stints at night but now the most I'm getting is 2 hours. He wakes up for a feed, the other night hourly.

During the day he fights naps and when he does go down the nap lasts 30mins.

I'm putting him down in his Crib every time and he's getting better at falling asleep in it, but I can't get him to go back to sleep. After a 30 min nap he wakes up happy as well. Trying to follow wake windows but had a battle today and he was awake from 715 to 1015 before his nap and again, that lasted 30 mins.

What did you do to improve baby sleep? Will it get better without training?

I started cosleeping. I got more rest, she woke less, it got better in time.

I caved and we co slept last night and he slept for 3 hours. I'm just worried this will set me up for a struggle further down the line?

It’s not caving, it’s being pragmatic and meeting his needs for now. Don’t borrow trouble, get through the days and nights and deal with other things as they come in time Flowers
