Reflux tips?

LO has had bad reflux since he was 2 weeks old and is now 9 weeks old. he on Neocate for a milk allergy and I’ve tried gaviscon for the sick but unfortunately doesn’t help in slightest. I’m going to try carobel soon as the aptamil reflux milk helped before he was on Neocate but obviously can’t use that now. Anyway just wondering if anyone has any tips for nighttime? He isn’t sick after I put him down to bed but when he wakes up for a feed at about 4am he’s sick constantly after but still wants to sleep. This means I can’t sleep after 4 as he just covers himself in sick if I’m not waiting to mop it up. He gets a lot of neck rashes from his sleeping bag and clothes being wet if I’m not up to change him. HV suggested those absorbent pads to put underneath him but not sure it’s safe? His cot can be put on an incline but the internet seems to advise against this.

Sounds like he isn’t on the right formula. Join the Facebook for ‘Main group CMPA support’ and ask for advice there.

Try feeding your baby with them sat as upright as possible. (You don't eat lying on your back!)
Rub their back rather than using tapping motions when trying to bring up wind.
Persevere with different types of milk.
I ended up weaning, albeit very slowly, from 4 months and it stopped virtually straight away. (I now have a strapping 15 year old teenager).
