Gift for new mum

I’ve become an auntie to a beautiful baby nephew! I’d like to buy my sister a nice gift especially as her first Mother’s Day is just around the corner.

My budget is around £50 but happy to spend a bit more if needed.

What was your favourite gift as a new mum? (I’ve already bought baby a gift - I want something specifically for mum)

I had a nice bodyshop set of nice shower gel, body butter etc... I like any pamper sets like that.

COOk vouchers

A bottle of wine?! 😆
Some nice PJ's or loungewear - I've treated myself after both my babies and liked having something nicer to wear round the house.
A voucher for a hair cut or massage she could use down the line

Along Parker231’s idea, but I’d actually order some cook meals to be sent to their home…a voucher requires effort from the recipient. I recently did this for a friend and she was delighted! They have a “first order” discount which is great too.

I've just sorted a cleaner for a one off deep clean a month after the birth. I remember how hard it was keeping on top of things like that

Cooking and cleaning things although lovely are not really for the mum, they are for the household
Wine, some nice comfy PJs, some bath stuff , a portable phone charger ! I can't count how many time I sat down under a sleeping baby and my phone was out of charge and I wasn't anywhere near my charger

A travel flask like this one that can be operated one handed and seals itself so no danger of spilling on baby. Great for night feeds as you can make it when you have your last evening drink.
