I’m a after some advice about my 3 year old son. He’s generally a really happy, confident, chatting little lad when he’s with people he knows and no problem with his confidence. He’s also good at playing with kids one on one. He’s goes to nursery 2 days a week, and he gets upset when we drop him off but loves it during the day.
I’ve taken him to soft play a few times where there are big groups of children, I.e birthday parties etc. but I can see he really lacks confidence keeping up playing with them, he gets a bit winey during it, and just isn’t really himself. He plays a lot by himself but I see he want to play with the other kids but doesn’t really get accepted into the group. Is there anything I can do to help him? It’s sad seeing him not himself. Will this improve with time?!
