Toys for a 1 year old

Hi all

Looking for gift inspiration for my soon to be 1 year old. She is my second child so we aren't short of toys but I like to give relatives a bit of guidance.

Is there anything that people would recommend?

a toni box? my 2 year old loves dancing away to the music characters

My one year old is a huge fan of the lift the flap books which have felt flaps, that way she can rag and rive at them and not break them.
Melissa and Doug latches board, it’s meant to be ages 3 and up but she sits on my knee and plays with it for ages. She can now also open the garden gate, so buy at your own risk!
Blocks. Stacking them and knocking over is hilarious for days.

DD is 16 months and her current three favourite toys are:
Blocks
Noah's Ark (or really the animals that come with it)
A cog board (if you google "wooden cog board" you'll see the sort of thing)

She does also like books a lot. I find Hairy Maclary are pretty nice to read to her, and she enjoys them. She also likes the Julia Donaldson Acorn Wood ones with the flaps to lift.

We've got another book lover here - dear zoo and spot and these new ones ive not seen before that make sounds, but the pages are still thin card like a normal baby book, she loves pressing the button and hearing the sounds
