Hello,
im just wondering if theres any other mammys who have had any little ones that have had swollen nodes? My little boy has has a swollen node on his neck following his first set of vaccinations. Its a small pea sized lump which has just remained there no changes to it and he isnt unwell i know they usually indicate an infection. Has been checked by Gp who said it is just there and not to worry. Health visitor said hopefully it goes (which was helpful!). Has anyone else had any experience of a lymph node just being swollen for no apparent reason?
Thanks in advance.

You are right that lymph nodes are usually a sign that the body is fighting something off. Seeing as he's just had his immunisations, his body is taking care of that and building an immune response to prevent him from contracting these diseases in the future. The GP has looked it it and has told you it's nothing to worry about. Lymph nodes can be very sensitive, sometimes mine swell from just a slight scratchy throat etc. If it was anything sinister it would be growing and the GP would not have dismissed it so quickly. I understand how anxious people can get around health, as I myself have suffered from this in the past. I think being a parent makes it even worse tbh. But your little one is absolutely fine. If you're worried and it hasn't gone down in a couple of weeks, go back to doctors x
