Looking for travel cot recommendations for occasional stay over at grandparents & uk travel only. Ideal if could also be a playpen but not essential. Baby us 5 months old.

The cheapest one from Amazon, red kite I think, and a cheap mattress. Very compact and good quality. I think it was 25 quid.

We’ve got a Hauck - pack and play I think - with a proper mattress in it (it does have a travel one with it) and it’s been brilliant. He’s still in it now at almost 3. We take the mattress over my mum’s so he’s comfy when he stays there x

I'd reccomend the hauck dream and play one that is slightly longer than usual travel cots. We used it as a playpen for a period of time and brought a mattress that fits rather than using the folding one that comes with it. My 2 year old can still fit in it now whereas as the standard travel cots he is too big yet we haven't transitioned him to a cot yet.
